Practical and emotional support for anyone affected by cancer

What we do

We aim to support people with the emotional and practical issues that can arise following a cancer diagnosis.

To achieve this, we provide a wide range of free services and offer each client a tailored package of support that is right for their individual circumstances.

Our services include

  • Counselling
  • Complementary therapies
  • Support groups and activities
  • Befriending and home visits
  • Telephone supports
  • HeadStrong - hair loss information and support
  • Regular drop-in complementary therapy sessions around the county
  • Solicitor's surgery

Support us

To continue providing our vital support two local people, we rely on volunteers giving their time, and generous giving and fundraising from local companies, groups and individuals. Supporting Coping with Cancer can be:

  • As easy as making a one-off or regular dontation
  • As rewarding as giving an hour of your time every week to volunteer as a befriender, driver or group supporter
  • As fun as taking part in one of our great events, or organising one of your own
