Volunteers Needed for Sainsbury's Birthday Bag Pack on 20th January
Published on 20/12/2011

As part of their 25th birthday celebrations, Sainsburys Belgrave Road have offered Coping with Cancer (the store's Charity of the Year) a bag-packing day on Friday 20th January 2012. Volunteers offer to pack customers’ bags in return for a small donation to Coping with Cancer. The Mayor of Leicester will be there at around 11am, plus Gem 106 FM to entertain customers.
To make this opportunity as good a fundraiser as possible for us we need lots of volunteers to help! Could you spare a couple of hours to be part of the bag packing team? You don’t need any special skills, you just need to be a friendly person who knows not to pack the spuds on top of the eggs and to keep the chilled items separate!
The bag packing will be running between 10.00am and 3.00pm on the day and just a couple of hours of your time will help to make a difference to the people we support now and in the future.
To volunteer for the day, please contact Jane Hagreen on 0116 223 0055 or email
