We are able to raise funds for Coping with Cancer by recycling the following items:
- Old mobile phones: they do not need to be boxed, or have their charger
- Used inkjet cartidges: not all types of worth money, but those that aren't are disposed of responsibly
- CD Albums: genuine (not copied) CD albums with a barcode on the sleeve (we cannot accept CD singles)
- DVDs: genuine (not copied) DVD films and television series with a barcode on the sleeve
- Computer games: we can accept PS2, PS3, PSP (games only, not films), XBox, XBox360, Wii, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS. (Please note we cannot accept any other games, e.g. PS1, PC software, old console cartridges)
By donating your old phones, inkjet cartidges, CDs, DVDs and games to Coping with Cancer, you’re not only helping the environment, but raising funds to support local people affected by cancer.
You can drop your recyclables into Helen Webb House. If you have a large amount to donate, we may be able to collect them. If you would like a donation container for your workplace, please get in touch.
For phones and inkjet cartridges only, we can also send you freepost envelopes, so all you have to do is pop your phone or cartridge into the envelope and post it - the unique barcode on the envelope means that the money raised will automatically come to Coping with Cancer.

Jewellery Recycling
We're can now turn your old gold, silver and costumer jewellery and watches into funds for Coping with Cancer. We can also accept damaged, broken and incomplete items, so all of your odd earrings and broken chains are a great start! You can either drop your donations in to Helen Webb House, or we can send you a freepost envelope, so you can send your items directly to the recycling company.
