Payroll Giving is a simple way to support our work, and really does make a difference. It is a flexible scheme which allows anyone who pays UK income tax to give regularly and on a tax free basis to Coping with Cancer. The regular income allows us to budget and plan ahead better. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p.
For your company it is a simple way to demonstrate your commitment to staff morale whilst supporting charities. For employees it's an easy way of giving more, at no extra cost. Your company can also be recognised by the Payroll Giving Quality Mark which rewards employers for making Payroll Giving available to their staff. A Gold Award is achieved by 10 per cent employee participation in Payroll Giving with their employer's support.
