Charnwood Lions Mehfil Evening

Coping with Cancer would like to thank the Leicester Charnwood Lions Club, including two of its members and Coping with Cancer supporters Alpa and Ketan Tanna, for staging a charity fundraising Mehfil Evening at the Spice Tree restaurant, Catherine Street, Leicester on 12th November 2011.
 
Mehfil is Urdu for an evening of entertainment, and that night 75 guests enjoyed a delicious two course meal, generously donated by the management of the recently refurbished Spice Tree, and live band. Everyone very generously joined in with the raffle, with additional donations topping up the money raised.
